Every year after the Taste of Chicago on July 3rd, the city has a huge fireworks display where over 3 million people come downtown to watch. This year the city closed down Michigan Avenue to make room for the crowds which I have never seen before but was a very cool site. All along Michigan Ave, cops on horses were stationed for crowd control etc. I happen to like this view from the middle of the street immensely but its usually immpossible to photograph because of all the traffic.
